About Brittany
Hey there! I’m Brittany, and my passion for creative writing has been strong for nearly ten years. What started as a degree in Journalism quickly led to me thinking “there HAS to be more to writing than just hard-hitting news stories”. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good story, but I wanted to be able to stretch my creative abilities beyond what was taught to me in my studies at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism.
So naturally...this journey of thinking brought me to social media and how I could use the creative writing techniques I learned to help tell a brand’s story online so they can create genuine connections with their audience. It was my light-bulb moment.
Some facts about me:
I’m a terrible cook, but I’m working on it.
I love traveling and have visited 14 countries, including Russia and Cuba.
I’ve been vegan for almost eight months now, and am always trying plant-based versions of my favorite comfort foods (I’m also attempting to make them).
I’m currently in beautiful Denver, Colorado!
I started Ethically Social in 2020 because after years of working with brands that inspired me, brands that frankly...didn’t, and during a year of complete and total chaos—I wanted to tell the stories of brands that did more than just sell a product or service. I wanted to tell the stories of brands that are working to change the world, in whatever big or small way that they can.
I thrive on helping businesses that care, are honest, and want to do right by our world. Since you’re here, I’m guessing you do, too. :)
